Pacific Underground (PU) is Aotearoa’s longest-running Pasifika performing arts collective, and they’re bringing something fresh to their first ever World Buskers Festival appearance. Think music jam meets masterclass as they call in their favourite drummer and bass-player mates for a full-blown groove session on the dance floor.

For the first time ever (well… in public), PU is unleashing a rhythm-section showdown—riff-offs, banter, and big jams included. “Bring on the funk!” says PU’s resident MD, Pos Mavaega, as he leads an all-star lineup of some of the city’s most loved musos.

Get ready for beats, laughs, and a whole lot of Pasifika soul.
